Tillamook County
Project: To design and facilitate two workshops with multiple stakeholders in Tillamook County. The overall goal was to complete the first component of the Youth Link/ Formula Grant project to create a system of coordinated early intervention services for at-risk youth ages 10–17 and their families. Service providers included Tillamook Department of Corrections, Tillamook School District, Tillamook Department of Children and Families, Tillamook Department of Human Services, Family Counseling Center, and Tillamook Department of Mental Health.
Process: Researched best practices for creating an integrated system across multiple partners resulting in a thorough literature review. A pre-workshop survey was completed to understand stakeholder opinions in order to guide workshop design. Two half-day workshops were facilitated to explore issues and outline a pilot program.
Results: A pilot program was defined to create a system of coordinated early intervention services for at-risk youth ages 10–17 and their families.
